You have been led a merry dance by Mercury Retrograde in October and November and it will not be until December 11th, when the planet of communication and information (and organisation) behaves himself, that you know the whole story.

In December, you can finally access the facts and figures you required all along, and this is going to help you tremendously, as there are new realities you have to confront, in your planning for 2013 and beyond.

You will notice this most near the Jupiter-Saturn quincunx on Saturday 22nd December, just before Christmas, and again at the Saturn-Pluto sextiles, just after Boxing Day.

This moment of truth has been a long time coming but now Mercury is out of his shadow, you can have the overdue conversation, reply to the e-mail or letter, or see where things actually stand.

Saturn has given you one of those TINA situations over the last few months. There Is No Alternative. It has probably crept up on you, but now you must plan for the future. Ask friends born under Pisces and Virgo how they dealt with life in 2010 and 2011, as they had this cycle before you.

Most importantly, realise that you need a strategy. Not just a reaction. I can’t think of any astrologer who would tell you that December is going to be one great big walk in the park, financially (or in terms of the business, house, flat or possessions). What you can do, though, is figure out a measured response.

A practical plan which you can live with, comfortably, through 2013 and 2014. Now that Mercury is out of shadow, and that eclipse is behind you, it should be possible to sit down, have a cup of tea and make it so.

Important note: many Libra people have planets in Scorpio. If so, it is very likely that you have been personally affected, either by Saturn, the North Node, the Eclipse or Mercury Retrograde in Scorpio – and you would have felt it since October.

What is happening to you is actually taking place globally; you are about to play your part in a wholesale rethink about money and happiness in 2013 and 2014 that affects the whole planet. What has been happening with your home and clan in 2012 is very far from balanced. In December a process of change will begin, which restores order in January. It may feel intense. It may be complex. But you have to play your part in making change happen, as the situation cannot continue.

Something (or someone) seems to have taken over. This has affected your home, home town or homeland. Perhaps it has affected your family, household or other clan. Pluto sometimes manifests as a situation – rather like heavy weather – and so the atmosphere may have felt overwhelming. Inescapable. Intense.

Pluto cycles can also show themselves through the behaviour of particular people, so you may have been dealing with an insensitive individual who wants total control, at the same time that he (or she) appears to have no self-control whatsoever.

Groups or organisation which seek to dominate may have been a factor for some Librans. A controlling real-estate agency, perhaps. Or a firm of builders who are the boss of you.

You will have your own story with your family, home, household, home town or homeland. The good news is, the balance you crave will be in place by January 2013 as the Pluto process takes hold.

How does it work? It’s simple. The person, organisation, place or situation which has dominated everything and everybody will be Plutoed. That’s actually a word, by the way. It was invented in 2006 after Pluto was demoted and became a dwarf planet. By all the laws of astrology, whatever (or whomever) towered over you is about to be shrunk, the same way plastic packaging shrivels and shrinks when you put it under the griller.

Oh, the heat will be intense. But it’s worth it. Let the process happen as it must. Mars will speed it all up for you, and as long as you hang onto the crucial rule (cast not the first stone; don’t throw one back) you can play your part in the big transformation to come in the opening month of 2013.

CREATING HAPPINESS IN 2013

If you want to teach or study at the highest level yet, prepare the ground in December. If you want to travel more ambitiously than ever before – or emigrate – do the work now. If you are fired up by the idea of success in another region or country – start the plan.

There are other possibilities for you too. Digital and traditional publishing could take you higher, faster and further in 2013. If you are passionate about your beliefs and want to explore those in a more meaningful way, then next year could help you achieve that.

Your priority list is personal to you. If you have heavenly bodies in Sagittarius, as many Libra people do, then you were meant to travel, write, publish, teach, study or pursue your beliefs. And you should set up everything you can for the future, in the first week of December.
