The Magician 2013

The Magician and You

Bippity. Boppity. Boo. (or how to be your own fairy godmother)

Resolutions aside, what do you hope, dream, and dare to create in the next 360 days?

A healthier self-image? A new or improved relationship? A different career or a step (or leap) up the ladder of your current profession? A deeper connection to your higher power?

With a wave of her magic wand, Cinderella's doting fairy godmother transformed her. But only until midnight. What did she give to Cinderella? A dress. A carriage. Those iconic (yet undoubtedly uncomfortable) shoes.

I wonder...Did Cinderella know that she didn't need the fairy godmother's help to be beautiful, kind, gracious, forgiving, and gifted? Those gifts--that magic--already existed within her. As they do in you!

Consider the Magician card pictured above. She possesses everything she needs to create the life, the destiny, the reality, and the present moment she desires for herself.

Her wand is her passion, creativity, and fire. The chalice is her heart, her every beautiful emotion, and the love and care she brings to her dreams...when she dares. The pentacle symbolizes her relationship with the physical plane and her ability to birth very real, very deliberate creations in her reality. The sword signifies her intellect, determination, and inner power.

Wand. Chalice. Pentacle. Sword.

All yours. Already. Always.

Dust off your magical tools and create something gorgeous for yourself today, tomorrow, and all year long.
