ORACLE: Focus

FOCUS  -    The energies and directions for the month of October are evolving around having you focus, focus, focus.  It’s all about broadening your understanding of and paying attention to everything that comes in front of you, so stay aware and alert and read on…

If you haven’t noticed, and you know I’ve said this before if you read these Oracles regularly, there is much chaos going on at many levels right now and with time speeding up to such a state that it hardly seems to exist as a dimension any longer, which is where it is going, you need to start focusing more and more and October is geared for such practices as part of your overall transition to the new reality.  In addition to all the new practices you have been immersed over the recent years, here is yet another arrow to add to your quiver. So, when “Focus” becomes the point of everything to integrate into your spiritual practices, as it should be for you this month, this means focusing every day in every way.

Now, thinking of Focus in a spiritual sense means to laser your attention to whatever it is you are doing, being, having, saying, creating.   It is like being on a tight wire – balancing, staying centered, not going to much one way into drama or the other way into not engaging at all, and neither too high nor too low emotionally.  While balance is a state of being to be maintained, and something you have hopefully been experiencing and practicing for years, now specifically is the time to focus.  Bring out your discerning lens.

What do you think of when it is said to focus?  I know before writing this Oracle I only thought of focus as paying attention to something.   Generally speaking, of course, it refers to concentrating on a specific point or central attraction, but there is more cogent definition which is applicable to the movement of subtle energies and that definition is using “Focus” as a verb and relates to focus as the ability to adapt to the prevailing level of light and therefore be able to see clearly (Google).  This certainly broadens the general understanding and concept of focus.  And that is exactly what you need to do this month:  broaden this concept and open up more of who you are to see it is all about letting more and more light into see clearer.  Focus can also mean adjusting to bring things clearer, like focusing the lens on a camera. Both concepts work as you bring Focus to the forefront for your practice this month.
